Education is key!

I refuse to spend my whole life working in a job that I have no passion for.

The majority of a person's life is spent working, so I want to be satisfied and happy with the career I lead, and know that I built my own dreams. I have no interest in going from job to job just because it pays the bills. Although I may sound ignorant I understand that due to economic situation many of us end up in that situation regardless of education.

None the less, I've had my goals set from a young age and I would like my son to know that I never gave up on them. It's not fun being on benefits, living alone, raising a child and trying to study, it's not easy either. It's also not easy for working single mothers, they deserve all the credit they get because that's a tough tough job. Plus, that's exactly what I'll be when I graduate, but my point is I have different goals right now, and I won't quit until they have been reached. It's not fair that I get judged for being on benefits, I'm trying to do something with my life so I won't be in this situation for much longer.

"If you do not build your own dream, someone will hire you to help build theirs." ~ Tony Gaskins

I love the honesty of that quote. Truth is.. it's as simple as that. Why work in an average job when you can be working in your dream job? In the UK there is so much help to get into education, this country practically caters for all types of situations so you will never be without.  It may take a little longer, but it will be so worth it in the end. You're never too old to go back into education. You deserve to be successful, and to be happy.
